My name is Ellen and my summer days were spent on the shores of Montauk, Long Island, with my family and friends. We all tanned so much that for the first 8 years of my life, I thought my Aunt Pat was African-American, when she was actually just your average Sicilian sun worshiping tanning addict. To prolong my tan during the winter months in New York, I had to resort to using tanning beds. Sometimes up to twice a day…yes I was a bit of a tanning addict myself!

I moved from Queens NY to LA,  I then took a break from tanning.....then when I started tanning, again I noticed the beginnings of rapid skin damage, even with the use of protection! While I wanted a healthy natural look I didn’t want to compromise my skin in the California sun, so I did some research on sunless tanning options and learned that there was such a thing as  spray tanning!
